Job Summary 

Greene Bodywork is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for a diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and clinical care. Requirements

  • An active MI massage therapist license in good standing
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Availability weekday mornings and weekends
  • Lymphatic drainage certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments to understand their concerns, and treatment goals
  • Perform a variety of therapeutic massage techniques and modalities tailored to individual client needs
  • Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness
  • Checkout and assist with rescheduling after each session
  • Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress and treatment plans
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans

Experience

  • Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist
  • Experience in care of medically fragile clients, with strong skills in assessment and pain management techniques
  • Lymphatic drainage certification preferred
  • Prior experience working in a clinically focused or similar setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively
  • Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and promoting client satisfaction
